Oracle Environmental Experts NI Limited was established in Northern Ireland in 2018 by Paul Guy, Dr. Jon Burton and Dr. Diane Green. As with the team in England and Wales, we are a provider of high quality expert environmental advice and support, and our relationships with our clients are founded on trust and respect.

Paul Guy

Paul joined Oracle Environmental Experts NI in 2018 and has over 25 years’ experience within the oil spill response and remediation industry. His response experience comes from working on major off shore disasters to small inland river spills. Paul has over 20 Years of experience in land remediation from initial design phase through to construction, installation and maintenance.

Previously Paul was the Commercial Manager of a specialist oil spill response and remediation firm where he worked for 12 years. During his time there Paul successfully secured response agreements with a large number of companies across the UK and Ireland. Paul was also part of the Research and Development team that developed a system for in-situ treatment of oil contaminated building structures. The system was used to successfully remediate over 100 properties saving the clients thousands in potentially expensive construction costs.

Paul brings a wealth of experience with him from working on over 5000 incidents in his career so far.

Fiona McMillan

Fiona joined Oracle Environmental Experts NI in January 2019 as Principal Consultant in our newly opened office in Belfast.

Prior to joining Oracle Environmental Experts NI, Fiona worked as Operations Manager for a specialist oil spill response and remediation firm in Northern Ireland and has practical experience managing a large number of domestic and commercial oil spill incidents and managing a team of specialist environmental scientists.

Having completed a BSc (Honours) in Earth & Ocean Science from National University of Ireland, Galway, Fiona initially gained experience working in an environmental consultancy gaining experience across hydrogeology, waste and contaminated land fields both in Northern Ireland and England.

With over 10 years’ experience in the environmental sector working across a varied range of site investigation and remediation projects she has hands on experience in the management of oil spill clean-up and contaminated land investigation as well as carefully managing client’s needs.

Carole Pavis

Carole joined Oracle Environmental Experts NI as the Accounts Manager in the newly opened Belfast Office in January 2019.

Carole has over 11 years’ experience in the environmental industry working within a similar oil spill response setting.

Previously Carole worked as an Accounts/Purchasing Manager for 17 years in a Garden Machinery Business before leaving to join a specialist oil spill response and remediation firm where she worked for 11 years.

As the Accounts Manager for Oracle Environmental Experts NI, Carole will be running the day to day accounts and assisting senior staff in financial planning.

Chris Duclayan

Before joining Oracle Environmental Experts NI in 2018, Chris worked as a Senior Remediation engineer for 12 years. Chris has over 25 years’ experience in the spill response and contaminated land industry. Chris comes to Oracle Environmental Experts NI with a wealth of experience from bespoke design, build, installation and maintenance of SVE, DPVE, and MPVE.

Over his career Chris has been involved with numerous large commercial and agricultural sites including the redevelopment of a major airport, decommissioning of a power station and a 2.2 million litre slurry spill.

With his wealth of experience in all aspects of groundwater and soil remediation, Chris will be a great asset to Oracle Environmental Experts NI.

Gareth Holmes Assistant Environmental Consultant

Gareth Holmes joined the team in April 2019 as an Assistant Environmental Consultant. A graduate of Geology from Liverpool John Moore’s University, he brings a broad range of practical and technical skills to his new role where he has quickly become a valued member of our Belfast team
