In-situ remediation: Application of treatment chemicals to the subsurface

Oracle Environmental Experts (OEE) offers sustainable In-situ remediation solutions to soil and groundwater contamination designed to be fast, efficient and cost-effective. The application of chemical oxidation technologies is a well established practice, but targeting these chemistries requires a considered and methodical approach. OEE have a team with decades worth of practical and technical experience to ensure the correct chemistries are achieved.

OEE owns and operates a dedicated tracked Direct Push Injection (DPI) rig. This offers our clients the reassurance that the strategy, implementation, communication and verification are handled seamlessly. In-situ chemical oxidation (ISCO) is used to treat and/or destroy site contamination in-situ and offers the following benefits:

  • Ability to access difficult-to-reach contaminants.

  • More cost-effective when compared to traditional ex-situ methods of remediation.

  • More sustainable solution for a reduced carbon footprint.

  • 50L/min at up to 30 bar injection pressures.

  • Both top-down and bottom-up injection capabilities using pressure-activated probes.

  • Down-well injections using well packers on existing boreholes

OEE specialise in the implementation of comprehensive treatment feasibility testing - a stage that cannot be substituted. These trials are supported by a vast array of remediation equipment and the data is used to inform and guide potential remedial strategies. With precision, key objectives are realised, and site-specific challenges can, wherever possible, be overcome prior to full-scale deployment.

At OEE, we pride ourselves on offering truly turn-key solutions using our experienced remediation engineers, risk assessors and geo-environmental consultants to create the ultimate team to realise the full potential of complex sites.
