Water Treatment &
Construction Dewatering
Our modular systems allow us to rapidly upscale or downscale the treatment capability should requirements change mid-project, especially with increased rainfall and water influx.
For dewatering on construction sites, we understand that the ability to move earth without waiting for dewatering is essential for all build programmes. OEE have treatment systems with the ability to provide 24/7 dewatering, to allow greater buffering capacity at the start of the working day, to minimise any downtime and allow residue settlement time which enables effective water treatment.
Service overview
Our water treatment systems include settlement of suspended solids, multi-stage separation through coalescing media, filtration using granular activated carbon (GAC) or other filter media.
Additional treatment such as active and passive flocculation dosing can be implemented as required.
A variety of water treatment options and services can be used to meet your site-specific requirements

The Benefits of Water Treatment
& Construction Dewatering
Cost-Effective Solutions:
It is often significantly cheaper to treat groundwater and stormwater on site, rather than paying to transport it off-site for disposal
Operational Continuity:
Treating groundwater and stormwater on-site can be done on a continuous basis and can avoid any construction programme delays
Sustainability:
Treating contaminated groundwater on-site has a lower carbon footprint than off-site disposal
Reduced Health Risks:
Water treatment reduces the risk of exposure of workers to contaminated water
Water Treatment & Construction Dewatering Case Study
Victorian Gasholder Dewatering, Silt Settlement and Ammonia Removal
The client required the accumulated water within the disused Victorian gasholder to be removed to allow its demolition and the redevelopment of the site for high-end housing.
This case study details how OEE developed and installed the abstraction and treatment system within two days.
